Using the LSL chlorinators

The Aims: To refresh staff with the skills and knowledge to disinfect new water mains as per Water Companies Codes of Practices. To show duty of care and to comply with the P.U.W.E.R. 1998 and to safely de-chlorinate and treat highly chlorinated water.

Objectives:

Safe handling of Sodium Hypochlorite.
Chlorination techniques using the LSL chlorinators
De-chlorination techniques.
Chlorination calculations. Using the LSL computer software
The use of smart card computer software uploading and downloading Information to and from the flow computer

Practical exercises using the chlorinators

Duration: 1 Day for delegates that have achieved a certificate of competence in the 3-day course.
