The Monitoring & Calibration of Liquid Solutions permanent fixed secondary chlorination units on site.

The Aims:

To give staff the skills and knowledge to conform to the P.U.W.E.R. 1998, mix dosing chemicals, to calibrate LSL. flow computer, to calibrate dosing pumps, to check power supplies, to comprehend the LSL. computer software, and to check residuals using comparators.

Objectives:

• Calculations for mixing dosing chemical using calcium hypochlorite or sodium hypochlorite.

• To set dosing parameters into the flow computer.

• To bleed and calibrate the dosing pumps.

• To check power supplies (batteries etc).

• To load and download data using modem and smart card and PC.

• To check chlorine residuals using comparators.

Duration: 1 day

Numbers: Up to 6 Delegates.

Additional information: Access to a fixed site installation would be ideal, although not essential W.Q.T. Ltd., would provide all equipment, computer and software for the above course.
