THE AIM: To give staff the knowledge and experience to comply with the P.U.W.E.R. regulations 1998 in order to avoid underground apparatus when excavating. To reduce risk of injury and/or the expense of damage to other utilities equipment.  

Objectives:

• Testing of electronic equipment.

• The understanding of the Power Radio and Genny modes.

• Calibrating of electronic equipment.

• Survey techniques.

• The combination use of transmitter & receiver.

• Practical exercises.

• Written test tick box question paper.

Duration: 1/2 day

Numbers: up to 10 delegates

Additional information: The client to provide electronic location equipment, and an area with known underground apparatus.
